OUR MINISTRY OF WORSHIP
Our purpose as St. Matthew’s United Church of Christ is to proclaim through our individual and united actions and words that we are a family of believers in God’s love and saving grace as expressed and taught by Jesus Christ. The focus of our church life is activities which will capture this spirit of Christian faith. The Word of God in scripture is central in our worship. Our worship service is enhanced by our Adult and Children’s choirs and special musical services. The children’s message is an important part of our worship service and we strive to be an inclusive congregation for all ages.
OUR MINISTRY OF FELLOWSHIP

Highlights of the fellowship life at St. Matthew’s include activities for all ages. Our Women’s Guild meets the second Tuesday of the month. Our Youth Fellowship meets once a month for various activities and take yearly camping trips that feature outdoor activities that focus on God's creation. Senior Sessions meets the third Monday of every month. They are involved in various community services and take several day trips to shows and other areas of interest. Congregational Breakfast are held the third Saturday of every month at various restaurants. We hold monthly congregational activities such as Covered Dish suppers, Game Nights, and other gatherings which contribute to the informal and family-like atmosphere of our church. In the summer we hold a Sunday Funday, Hymn Sing and Intergenerational Sunday School. We have annual Cabaret Musical Shows to raise money for our annual Mission Trips. Our annual Chicken Barbecues are held the last Saturday in April and September..
